Our Doctor, Gregory M. Cowan, MD

Dr. Cowan was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He continued his medical training by completing a pediatric medicine residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and returned to the University of South Florida College of Medicine for fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. There he had the opportunity to learn at the side of four former presidents of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI). His fellowship provided education in, and exposure to, a wide range of allergic and immune conditions by treating patients at the James A. Haley Veterans Medical Center, John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, and the surrounding community.
